Privacy Policy
How Snap A Sticker and this website handle your information.
Snap A Sticker (“the app”) is an independent collector tool for physical promotional stickers you already own. This policy covers the iOS app and stickers.snapcollectibles.com. It is not affiliated with any café, brand, or trademark owner.
Information we collect
- Account. Sign in with Apple gives us a user identifier and, if you share them, your name and email. We use these to post trades, attribute catalog contributions, and restore your account on a new device. Collecting works without signing in.
- Collection. Stickers, notes, and photos you add stay on this device and, if you tap Sync to iCloud, in your private iCloud database for this app.
- Identification (AI). When you Snap or Check a sticker, a resized photo may be sent to our identification provider (OpenRouter) so the app can suggest a catalog match. Photos are not sold. You can add stickers manually without using Snap.
- Public posts. Trades, event posts, chat, and optional Master Catalog contributions are stored in CloudKit Public Database and are visible to other collectors. Friends-only listings are hidden in the app for non-friends; do not post secrets there.
- Facebook / contact. A Facebook profile is optional. If you add one, it is stored with your trade profile so other collectors can verify you. Instagram, Messenger, and email contact fields are shared only after you accept interest.
- Subscriptions. Optional Snap A Sticker Pro is billed by Apple. We do not receive your full card number. Restore Purchases uses your Apple ID. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
- Notifications. If you allow them, we send alerts you opt into (trade interest, friend requests, event reminders). We do not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) or App Tracking Transparency.
Location
The app does not use GPS or Location Services. Meetup and event locations are typed text only. Optional region tags on trades are text you enter (for example a city name).
This website
The public catalog and stock images are static files. The browser collection / trade demos store data in
localStorage on your device only. We do not run third-party advertising or analytics SDKs on this site.
Hosting (Vercel) may process standard server logs such as IP address for security and delivery.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not use App Tracking Transparency advertising identifiers.
- We do not run third-party ads or analytics SDKs in the app.
- We do not process sticker payments or store payment card numbers.
Your choices
- Export a full backup from Settings (Files / AirDrop).
- Sign out of Sign in with Apple in Settings.
- Delete your account in Settings → Delete Account. That removes local data and requests deletion of your public CloudKit rows (trades, messages, profile, contributions). Private iCloud backups for that environment are cleared when possible.
- Email admin@snapcollectibles.com with your trade username and Apple ID email to request deletion if you cannot open the app.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13. Trading, chat, and user photos are why the App Store age is 12+, not 4+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, email us and we will delete it.
Data used to track you
No. We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. Data we hold is used for App Functionality: identifying stickers, keeping your collection, and optional trading with other collectors.
Security
Traffic uses HTTPS. The app uses only standard iOS encryption (ITSAppUsesNonExemptEncryption = NO). CloudKit access follows your Apple ID and iCloud account. No method of transmission is perfectly secure.
Changes
We will update the date at the top of this page when the policy changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
